Actions in the Dataset Manager (and other managers) can take quite a long time and the user does not get any indication if the process in the background is still running. Thus, when he clicks refresh, an updated page should be displayed with some sort of progress update.
As we do not know how many structures are in one archive, if they are compressed, if they need to be extracted automatically, etc, the update page should show the number of archives, lists, structures, models, chains. The user can see at least that these numbers change every time he refreshes. the page.
