Versioning Policy

Versions receive the same release number as their corresponding Milestones (if existent).

Release numbers adhere to the following scheme: 

major.minor[.maintenance]


||*Number* ||*Description*
||major        ||Major improvement in functionality
||minor        ||Minor improvements in functionality OR significant bugfixes
||maintenance  ||Minor bugfixes

Release numbers are prefixed in the following way: 

||*Component* ||*Prefix*    
||ProCKSI         || procksi-
Example:
  • Milestone = 8.3
  • Version = procksi-8.3
